01

Context before conversation

An assistant can receive the active application, industry, tenant, role, page, entity terminology, and supported field definitions so its questions fit the work in front of the user.

02

The user's permissions remain the boundary

An assistant operates on behalf of the logged-in user. It must not create, update, deactivate, or retrieve records outside the operations and data that user can access.

03

Review before consequential action

When an assistant prepares a supported record change, the user should see the proposed action and confirm it before execution. The user can redirect, revise, or cancel the proposal.

04

Text and voice, one workflow

Applications can offer typed or conversational voice interaction while keeping the same authenticated server path, business tools, and confirmation rules.

05

Use AI with judgment

Assistant output can be incomplete or incorrect. Users remain responsible for reviewing proposed work, protecting sensitive information, and following their organization's policies.
